At the Centre for History of Knowledge, we are now announcing a postdoctoral research position in the history of knowledge with a focus on the history of the knowledge society. The focus on the history of the knowledge society means that we emphasize the societal dimension of the history of knowledge. It is important that the applicant can demonstrate that his or her research can contribute to overall discussions regarding the history of the knowledge society, and that the proposed project is formulated in relation to larger social, political, economic or cultural processes in the past. We welcome applications regardless of time period and geographical focus.
The position is 75% of full-time for 9 months, with the first day of employment on 1 September, 2023. Eligible for employment as a researcher is anyone who, no more than five years before the deadline for application, has completed a doctoral degree or a degree deemed to be equivalent to a doctoral degree.
