On Monday we will kick off our second iteration of the Summer school in the history of knowledge at the Lund Centre for the History of Knowledge (LUCK). Due to the corona virus, the Summer school has had to move online in 2021. We still however, have been able to gather participants from four Nordic countries. This group of PhD students will discuss the societal significance of knowledge throughout history for four intensive days.
The Summer school has been somewhat updated with new literature and new workshops since last year, but still has a special focus on the research field of the history of knowledge as such – its formation, central concepts and research orientations. Administrator and main teacher of the course is Anton Jansson, and he is joined by five other LUCK affiliated researchers who will also teach during the week.
