This week a course in the history of knowledge (7.5 ECTS) starts as part of the master programme in historical studies at the Department of History, Lund University. The teachers, David Larsson Heidenblad and Johan Östling, provide this course for a third time. Due to the rapid development of the field, they have revised the reading list substantially this year.
The course offers an overview of the history of knowledge as a scholarly field. Among other things, the circulation of knowledge, forms of knowledge and knowledge actors are discussed. Students will also have the opportunity to delve into many of the special studies and monographs that have been published in recent years.
