On 12/9, 13.15-15, the LUCK seminar-series fall 2022 begins with an online gathering! We are visited by Klaus Petersen & Cecilie Bjerre from the University of Southern Denmark, who in recent years have worked with an innovative citizen science project that explores Danes’ experiences of the “family revolution” during the 1970s and 1980s, i.e. the period when daycare became the norm.
This has been explored in collaboration with upper-secondary school students who conducted interviews with older relatives. The material has been collected, digitized and enabled new forms of quantitative analyses. Is this possibly a way forward for contemporary historical research that is interested in the history and life experiences of the many?
The seminar is a joint arrangement with DigitalHistory@Lund. For a zoom link, contact johan.ostling@hist.lu.se
