Presentation and discussion of the new edited volume Digital Roots: Historicizing Media and Communication Concepts of the Digital Age (De Gruyter 2021) with Gabriele Balbi (Lugano), Nelson Ribeiro (Lisbon), Valérie Schafer (Luxembourg) and Christian Schwarzenegger (Augsburg). The discussion will focus on the introduction and chapters “Network”, “Governance” and “Datafication”, all available OA. The seminar is chaired by Marie Cronqvist and co-arranged by DigitalHistory@Lund, Lund Center for the History of Knowledge (LUCK) and the Film and Media History Seminar.
