Focus and engagement areas

At LUCK, we have a broad interest in the history of knowledge, including the concepts, methodologies, theories and analytical frameworks of the field. For the coming years, however, we have singled out more distinct areas which we will focus on. In many ways, these areas reflect our main scholarly interests at the moment. On the one hand, there are six research focus areas, each comprising one or several ongoing projects. On the other hand, we have three engagement areas that denote different types of activities rather than specific empirical or chronological directions.
