A new book on the history of the knowledge society in Sweden has been published, Sverige som kunskapssamhälle: Historiska perspektiv på en förväntad samhällsomvandling (Nordic Academic Press), edited by Carl-Filip Smedberg, Jonas Andersson, Klara Müller and Hampus Östh Gustafsson. It brings together some twenty researchers from a number of disciplines and universities who together explore aspects of the history of the knowledge society during the 1980s and 1990s. 

Several researchers associated with LUCK contribute to the book, including Evelina Kallträsk, David Larsson Heidenblad and Johan Östling. The book has its origins in a series of workshops on the history of the knowledge society organised by LUCK in 2022–2024.
