Last week, the sixth annual Summer School in the History of Knowledge brought together an international group of 20 Ph.D. candidates and early career researchers for four days of lectures, seminars, and discussions in Lund.
The program featured contributions from Johan Östling & David Larsson Heidenblad, Anna Nilsson Hammar, Maria Simonsen & Karl Haikola, Natasha Klein Käfer, Christa Lundberg, Isak Hammar, and Evelina Kallträsk. Participants explored topics ranging from an introduction to the history of knowledge as a research field to in-depth presentations of ongoing projects.
One of the most valued aspects of the summer school was the opportunity for participants to engage in conversations that crossed disciplinary, thematic, and national boundaries. The result was a week marked by curiosity, intellectual verve, and generous exchange that we hope will continue to shape research in the field.
We look forward to welcoming the next cohort in 2026.
