On 24–25 April, the workshop “The Nordic University in the European Knowledge Society since the 1970s” was organised in Lund by Johan Östling and Stefan Nygård. They had gathered more than a dozen researchers affiliated with the centre Higher Education and Research as Objects of Study (HERO) in Uppsala, the Lund Centre for the History of Knowledge (LUCK) and the project The History of Science in Finland in Helsinki. A second workshop is planned in Helsinki in October.
