Summer School successfully concluded

The fifth annual Summer School in the History of Knowledge at Lund University concluded successfully, bringing together 24 participants from 20 universities. Over four intensive days, these scholars engaged in a rich program of lectures, seminars, and discussions, delving into key concepts and approaches within the history of knowledge. Hosted by the Lund Centre for Knowledge History (LUCK), the Summer School provided a unique platform for participants to explore how knowledge is constructed, circulated, and transformed across time and space.

Members of LUCK, along with affiliated researchers, shared insights from their own work, covering a wide range of topics including the processes of translation, the history of humanities, the history of the university, and the history of education. Additionally, each participant had the opportunity to receive feedback on their research projects.

This year marked a milestone for the Summer School as it was conducted in English for the first time. Our goal was to maintain the inclusive and creative environment that has characterized the Summer School in previous years, enabling rich discussions and drawing insights from a wide range of research backgrounds. Thanks in large part to the active contributions of the participants, we hope the Summer School has been a rewarding and enriching experience for everyone involved.
